Knitted Love

Happy Wednesday!  As many of you know, I have been lucky enough to design and make cards for several different UK craft magazines over the past 9 years.  Today, I have a trio of cards to share that I made for issue 32 of Die-Cutting Essentials magazine using the adorable SugarPea Designs Knit Wit stamp and die set.  The brief was "3 Cards for Women" using the colour pallette of pinks, golds, taupe and black. 
 

For my first card, I created a repeating pattern panel using the wool images.  The stamp set comes with two cute face stamps, so of course I had to use them!




I love the knitted heart image and thought it went perfectly with the "You keep me from unravelling" sentiment.


Finally, I used all the images from the stamp set for my third card, adding some shaded Copic colouring this time, as well as creating an ombre effect when colouring the knitted heart.  I love that the "With Love" part of the sentiment is stitched - it's those little details that make this stamp set so fantastic!
