SugarPea Designs Jan 2020 release: Day 4

Hi everyone and welcome to the fourth day of the SugarPea Designs January 2020 release sweet peeks!

We hope you’ll join us this week as we share Sweet Peeks for our NEWEST products, available to purchase in the SPD Store from this Friday, January 24th at 6PM EST.

Today we are sneak peeking 3 brand new products that I had the privilege of illustrating/designing - Jukebox Jive stamp set and its coordinating Jukebox Jive die set, together with a standalone Rock n Roll Jukebox die set. 
 

I used the checked stamp from the Jukebox Jive stamp set along the left and right edges of the card front to create detailed edges.  The checked stamp is actually shorter than the height of a regular A2 card, so I used my MISTI to help me perfectly repeat stamp the image so that the checks covered the edges of the card front seamlessly.

I created the die-cut jukebox using the Rock n Roll Jukebox die set and different coloured card.   When I was designing this die set I wanted it to be really detailed, so there are lots of different little pieces included.  It was so much fun piecing everything together and watching it come to life piece by piece!   I added a little bit of Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the light tubes to create a little more dimension and interest.

    Wow! This turned out great. At first it looked almost like you did it in felt. I thought, "Oh, now she didn't..." then I read it is Wink of Stella on the tubes. It looks fabulous!

    Fantastic card! I too at first thought you used felt for the jukebox! I would have never guessed the Wink of Stella would give that neat effect! So cool! Love the checkerboard details on the side with that slight red trim and the little pierced details just make this card all come together! Beautiful!

    I really, adore you red jukebox with the silver and ecru hightlights! It is so fun and makes me want to jam out to some Chuck Berry! How fun and the checkerboard edges look to me, like the floor of the soda parlor! Maybe Ritchie and Potsie will show up! :) Great card!
