SugarPea Designs December 2019 release: Day 5

Hi everyone and welcome to the final day of the SugarPea Designs Winter 2019 sneak peeks!

The new release will be available to purchase in the SPD Store at 6PM EST TODAY (Friday, December 13th 2019).

For our final day of sneak peeks, we are showcasing the Heart Prints stamp set and its coordinating Simple Heart die.

For my card, I began by cutting out 5 hearts from an A2 stitched panel of whte card.  I used my MISTI stamping tool to help me stamp the different Heart Prints images onto the front of my card base so that they lined up with the heart apertures.  Once this was done, I stamped some small hearts from the *NEW* Sentiments of Love stamp set in the same colour inks around the heart apertures and then added the die cut panel to the front of my stamped card front using foam pads for dimension.  Finally, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Heart Prints stamp set in white onto a strip of black card and added some clear sparkling sequin.  The envelope behind the card one of the *NEW* additions to our range and called Back to the Fuschia (don't you just love that name!).

SugarPea Designs December 2019 release: Day 4

Hi everyone and welcome to the second day of the SugarPea Designs December 2019 release sweet peeks!

We hope you’ll join us this week as we share Sweet Peeks for our NEWEST products, available to purchase in the SPD Store from this Friday, December 13th at 6PM EST.

Today we are sneak peeking the adorable Love Machine stamp set and its coordinating Love Machine die set, along with a *NEW* stencil (that I designed) called English Bond Brick Wall.

For my card, I used the English Bond Brick Wall stencil and some grey ink to create a background to ground my little Love Machine characters (which were coloured using Copic markers and cut out using the coordinating Love Machine die set).

The little "BEEP" sentiment is from the same stamp set, and the stamped hearts are from the Sentiments of Love stamp set that we sneak peeked yesterday.  The main panel was created using the largest die from the Postage Stamp die set, and I simply popped it up onto my red card base using foam pads for dimension.

We hope you’ll join us this week as we share Sweet Peeks for our NEWEST products, available to purchase in the SPD Store from this Friday, December 13th at 6PM EST.

Today we are sneak peeking some gorgeous love/Valentine themed goodies: Sentiments of Love stamp set, Dangle Hearts Coverplate die, Love Word with shadow die set, Valentine Word with shadow die set, and Dangle Hearts die.

For my frist, I used the Valentine Word with shadow die set and the Dangle Hearts die, together with heart stamps from the Sentiments of Love stamp set and a sentiment from the Heart Prints stamp set that we will be showcasing in full on Friday.

And for my second card, I used the Love Word with shadow die set and the Dangle Hearts die, together with heart stamps and a sentiment from the Sentiments of Love stamp set.

I chose a non-traditional colour palette of lime green and turquoise for my Valentine's cards, and paired them with the Tiffany envelopes.

SugarPea Designs December 2019 release: Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to the second day of the SugarPea Designs December 2019 release sweet peeks!

We hope you’ll join us this week as we share Sweet Peeks for our NEWEST products, available to purchase in the SPD Store from this Friday, December 13th at 6PM EST.

Today we are sneak peeking For Pug's Sake stamp set, SugarCut - Envelope Liner die set, and some new envelopes!

For my card, I started off by attaching a purple stitched rectangle (cut using one of the dies from the Card Front Element Builder die set) to the front of my card base.  I then cut a scalloped stiched panel from white card using (again using one of the dies from the Card Front Element Builder die set), then inked the centre of the panel with Dusty Concord distress ink and added some flicks of water.  Once the panel was dry, I added it to the centre of the card front using foam pads for dimension.

I used the *NEW* SugarCut - Envelope Liner die set to cut out the floral elements and the word Love from different coloured cardstock, layering the elements and attaching them to the card front.  The adorable image is from the gorgeous *NEW* For Pug's Sake stamp set (illustrated by the very talented Vera Yates).  I coloured this using Copic markers, fussy cut it out and then popped it up with foam pads for dimension.  Finally, the sentiment is from a new set we are sneak peeking tomorrow called Sentiments of Love, and I simply heat embossed it in white onto some strips of pink card.

I used the largest die from the *NEW* SugarCut - Envelope Liner die set to cut out a envelope liner from pink striped paper from the Spots & Stripes Pastels paper pad, then popped it inside a Purple Rain envelope to match my card.

SugarPea Designs December 2019 release: Day 1

Hi everyone and welcome to the first day of the SugarPea Designs December 2019 release sweet peeks!

We hope you’ll join us this week as we share Sweet Peeks for our NEWEST products, available to purchase in the SPD Store from this Friday, December 13th at 6PM EST.

Today we are sneak peeking 3 brand new products that I had the privilege of illustrating/desigining ... Cheers to You stamp set, Cheers to You coordinating die set and a Cheers Word die (with shadow).

For my first card I used the Cheers to You stamp and die set, together with the Cheers Word die, to create a New Year celebration card.  The Cheers to You die set has coordinating dies for the stamped images as well as 3 additional small standalone accessory dies that can be used with the main bottle outline die to create a separate standalone die cut bottle.  The drinks glasses can also be used on their own as well as with the coordinating stamps. I wanted to add the year my card, so used the number stamps from the For the Graduate stamp set.

The Cheers to You stamp set can be used for lots of different celebration cards, not just those which celebrate the New Year.  When I was designing this stamp set, I included some fun shaped glasses as well as lots of tiny accessory stamps so you can create your favourite drink in stamp form!

For my second card I created a ginberry fizz, mojito, tequila sunrise and a martini, adding glossy accents to the glasses for a little shine.  I added a simple Birthday Wishes sentiment from the Everyday Sentiments stamp set cut out with the coordinating Sentiment Strips die set.
