SugarPea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Welcome to the SugarPea Designs 2nd Birthday Bash Celebration!

We are celebrating with a fabulous Blog Hop featuring our AMAZING SugarPea design team and some very talented Special Guests!

For my project, I used my Noted stamp set and my SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card die set to create a masculine birthday card:


Supplies
SPD Noted stamp set

Bazzill cardstock: Tangelo Blast, Date Swirl, Blackberry Swirl, Coconut Swirl
Stampin' Up cardstock: Bermuda Bay
WOW Embossing Powder: Opaque Bright White Super Fine (WL01SF)
Memento ink: Tuxedo Black, Teal Zeal
Doodlebug Sprinkles: Tangerine

First, I die cut 2 notebook pages using the largest die from SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card.  I used the large lined paper stamp from Noted to add horizontal grey lines to both notepaper die cuts, and then used the vertical double line stamp from the same set with teal ink to create the notepaper margin. I used the chevron trio die three times down the right side of the white lined notepaper, backed it with some black cardstock, then fixed it to the teal notepaper die cut.

I die cut the word "note" from white cardstock, glued it to a black banner from SugarCuts - Stitched Flags, and then popped it up with foam pads.  The grey paperclip, black brackets, teal arrow clip and die cut pencil were cut using the SugarCuts Notebook Journal Card, and the "Just a" and "to say..." stamps are from Noted. The "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from Let's Fiesta, and I simply heat embossed it in white onto some orange cardstock.
