Hi everyone! I have a TAWS card to share today that I made following the current sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch! #121.

I used the adorable dolphin from Gill-Friend.  This mini set is FREE with purchases of $40 or more (before shipping) from The Alley Way Stamps store during the month of May!  It is the perfect accompaniment to the rest of the aquatic stamp sets that have been released this month.

First, I add a stitched border to a 99x142mm piece of Bazzill Coconut Swirl cardstock using the straight border stitch die from my Whimsy Stamps Stitched Border Trio die set, then inked the top right corner with Broken China distress ink. I wanted to mount the panel onto my 105x148mm card base using foam tape, but I've run out, lol, so I had to glue it instead!

I stamped the dolphin from Gill-Friend using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured him using the BV20s series of Copic Markers, fussy cut him out, and then temporarily taped him in place using washi tape.  I then used my MISTI to stamp the "Make a Splash" sentiment from Something's Fishy and the water droplets from All Washed Up.  Once I'd finished stamping, I added foam pads to the reverse of the dolphin's body (not his tail) and fixed him to my panel.

To create his hoop, I simply used 2 nestabilities circles dies with some white cardstock and then wrapped some red ribbon around the white hoop, before gluing it to the card front. Easy peasy!  Finally, I added some Star Dust Stickles to the water droplets for a bit of glittery shine!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I hope you have a great rest of the week!

Hugs,
