By LORI Designs EASTER BLOG HOP!

Hi everyone! Today at By LORI Designs the DT are holding a special Easter BLOG HOP - yay!  You should have hopped here from Hannah's blog.  If you didn't, hop on back to the beginning at the BLD shop as you don't want to miss a thing! :)

We have a tonne of awesome images to showcase today, not least the fabulous *new* Bug & Roo digi stamps by the uber-talented Hannah!  I'm sure you will agree that they are totally adorable:

My daughter was sat with me when I was deciding which image to use for my blog hop creation, and she immediately picked out Puddle Jumper Easter Lyla and asked me to make an Easter card for her with it!  How could I say no? LOL! The egg basket and sentiment are actually part of the digi image.  All I did was separate and resize them, as I wanted them to go on a separate sentiment panel. Then I resized Lyla, printed her out, coloured her with Copics and popped her up! :)  I followed Jen's delicious Deconstructed Sketch #44 and used some yummy MME Lime Twist Life of the Party 6x6 papers as Erin just loves bright, zingy colours:

It wouldn't be a hop without a prize would it? Well check this out - the wonderful and sweet Lori is giving a $20 shop credit to one lucky winner - EEK! How awesome is that? If you want to be added to the draw for this yummy prize, be sure to comment on every DT members blog hop post (links listed below)!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and now it's time for you to continue the hop at Tina's amazing blog!

Hope you have a great Tuesday!

SCRSC75B: Sketch Challenge & Shopping Emily

Hi everyone! I am so pleased to report that I am slowly getting back to normal after being so ill. I can't believe I am now into my 4th week! I spent the first 2.5 weeks in bed and wasn't able to take E to school for 3 weeks, but today was the first time I have been able to - yay! Still coughing, but after my consult with the doc this morning I am secure in the knowledge that I am on the mend! I hope you are all safe and well, and if not, I wish you a very speedy recovery. :)

Today is week 2 of Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #75 and we have a wonderful sketch for you to follow for this challenge by our very own and all-round amazing Kim!

SCRS is also sponsoring today's Inspirational Sketch Challenge, so do visit them for another opportunity to win some lovely Sparkle Creations stamps!

For my challenge card I used Shopping Emily and the "Pamper yourself" sentiment from Relaxing Charlotte. Both these stamps are available to buy from the SCRS store (or from My Mum's Craft Shop if you live in the UK/Europe).

I used some yummy Fancy Pants "Be You" 6x6 paper and some kraft and black cardstock. Shopping Emily was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (I also did a little paper piecing!).

I added some 1/8" black ric rac as a border (love doing this!), some black grosgrain ribbon and a 10mm black polka dot button threaded with some Rustic Cream Button Twine to my sentiment tag, all from the lovely Emma at http://www.sewsweet.co.uk/.

Our challenge is open to all players. Each week a random winner will be chosen and the winner of challenge 75 will receive the lovely Cocktail Emily rubber stamp. In order to qualify for a prize, you must use a Sparkle Creations image on your creation. You have until Sunday 25 March @ 9.00PM PST to play along with challenge 75.

Please visit the rest of the SCRS Design Team B to take a peek at their fabulous challenge creations:

Thanks so much for dropping by today and I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday!

Sparkle Creations March Previews - Engaged Lucy

Hello everyone and welcome to the first day of our March previews!

Today we are excited to show you Engaged Lucy! All new stamps will be available to buy on Saturday, March 10th, 2012.

Unfortunately I don't have a card to share with you yet. I have been extremely ill for almost 2 weeks now and although I have started to turn a corner, all I could do yesterday was stamp and colour the hair/skin before my head started spinning! I will have an 'Engaged Lucy' card for you, hopefully later today. It's also birthday today, but to be honest I don't feel like celebrating at the moment, especially considering I have spent the last week and half in bed! So we have postponed the celebrations until I'm feeling better, which is a bit disappointing, but necessary.  Please accept my profuse apologies and thank you for bearing with me at this time.

In the meatime be sure to visit the rest of the SCRS designers for peeks of Engaged Lucy. Sparkle will be giving away an Engaged Lucy rubber stamp to one lucky person! For a chance to WIN, you need to visit and comment on all of the designers' Engaged Lucy blog posts (listed below) and leave a comment on the SCRS blog. You have until midnight EST tonight to comment.
