It's Day 2 of SugarPea Designs January 2015 Release!
So what did you think of the fantastic BRAND NEW PRODUCT we revealed yesterday ... the amazingly awesome MAGNETIC CARDS? I LOVE them SO much and I know you will too! They are such excellent quality and designed to fit perfectly into our Stamp & Die Storage Pouches.
Wendy is so excited about this new product that she is going to add one individual Magnetic Card FREE to every order during the entire month of January, so that you can see how incredible they are for yourself!
Today, the DT is sneak peeking some of the new products I designed for this new release! Yay! If you hopped along yesterday, you would have already seen 2 of the 5 new die/die sets being released this week. Today we are sneak peeking 2 *new* stamp sets from my Sweet Chic Collection and the 3 remaining *new* die sets.
First up is Classroom Cupids. This is a 4x8" set jam packed with cute images and coordinating sentiments. I included a 2-step donut stamp, plus a tic tac toe board with space to stamp the "I" "heart" "U" in a different colour in this set:
Special Delivery is a 4x4" set with no less than 12 individual stamps! I designed the stitched heart flight path of the paper airplane so that the ends match up perfectly enabling you to stamp a continuous border, so you don't have to use it just as a flight path! :) The airmail border stamp at the very bottom is spaced so that you can stamp first in one colour (perhaps red?) and then ink it up in a second colour (perhaps blue?) and stamp it in the spaces, creating a perfect mail-themed border!
The SugarCuts - Special Delivery Accents die set coordinates perfectly with the Special Delivery stamp set and includes a die to cut out the airplane (open-faced for easy-peasy placement) and a cute stitched envelope. Although the open envelope is flat, I added a cut line so that you can tuck things into the envelope. You can also fold the top flap down to close the envelope - cute!
When I was designing the SugarCuts - Heart Journal Card Set, I wanted to make the most of the empty space inside the 3x4" journal die so that you get the most value for your money, so this die set cuts out a tonne of different images. Shaker cards are very on trend at the moment, and so I designed a trio of stitched hearts that will be perfect for this technique. I considered simply adding one stitched outline heart to this die set instead of a trio, but the lazy crafter in me thought about how fiddly it would be to line it up to cut it multiple times, lol, so I decided to create the vertical trio instead. Not to waste any space, I added lots of different heart designs inside of the trio, so with one pass through the die-cutting machine, you get 6 individual and different hearts plus the stitched trio window! As I included one "plain" heart, you will be able to layer the other hearts on top if you so wish!
Finally, we have the SugarCuts - Notched Heart Journal Card. This features a staggered and repeating heart pattern with the same outline shape as the SugarCuts - Hearts Journal Set, so you can use this die on its own to create a fun cut out panel or layer it onto the plain journal card. You will see that a lot of the DT have used this die and cut out the hearts from different paper and inlaid them back in. So beautiful! I have a feeling that this die is going to be very popular, but I can't take all the credit for this one, lol! The super-talented Wendy came up with the concept for this die, which I then made into a reality!
