GIC28: Chocolate Heaven

Hi everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at the Graph'it Markers blog and it's the turn of Team B to provide you with some Graph'it inspiration! Our challenge this week is CHOCOLATE HEAVEN, so we want to see creations with different tones of brown.

I used the gorgeous Nikki digital stamp, illustrated by Krista Smith of Saturated Canary LLC, for my card. I managed to grab this when Krista was offering it as a freebie on her blog, but you can buy it HERE from the SC store.

1. Trim a 140mm square of lined paper from the Prima paper pad. Stamp a border in Walnut Stain ink around the edge using one of the stamps from the WS Vintage Fancy Corners. Stamp a text background stamp over the entire panel using Walnut Stain. Ink edges in Vintage Photo. Layer onto a 143mm square of Bitter Chocolate cardstock.  Layer onto a 148mm square of paper with edges inked in Vintage Photo. Trim two 80x125mm pieces of coordinating patterned paper. Ink edges in Vintage Photo and adhere to card base at angles as shown. Adhere to the front of a 148mm square card base with the fold at the top.

2. Insert digital stamp image into a Word document and resize to 52 percent. Crop image as shown and print onto white card.  Trim to 83x124mm.  Colour image with Graph'it Markers (colours listed in main post).  Stamp and ink a border around the image as you did in step one.  Fix to the centre of the card front using foam pads.

3. Die cut a WS Snowflake Mini Seal from patterned paper.  Stamp one of the WS Mini Letter Seals stamps in Walnut Stain onto patterned paper and cut out. Ink edges of both with Vintage Photo. Layer circle onto a slightly larger circle punched from Bitter Chocolate card and adhere to the snowflake die cut. Fix to the top left of the card with foam pads.

4. Die cut Poppystamps Pine Sprigs and Memory Box Precious Stars from Bitter Chocolate cardstock. Die cut 2 more stars from patterned paper and adhere to already cut stars as shown. Fix to card using foam pads and glue. Die cut 2 different sized Christmas trees from patterned paper using the Marianne Designs dies. Ink edges with Vintage Photo. Adhere to card with foam pads as shown. Add half pearls and WOC flowers to finish.
